Meet our team
Kevin essentially grew up and around the business, started out working for his father, John Lyons after graduating school. Kevin knows every facet of the company and to this day has kept his technical skills sharp. His greatest satisfaction comes from watching employees grow, learn, and succeed at work. During his personal time, Kevin enjoys traveling and exploring new adventures alongside his wife and three children.
After losing his job as a Mechanical Engineer in 1982, John recognized the opportunity for repairing medical equipment, as a steady, recession proof, business of which he could utilize his engineering, electrical and mechanical skills. This led to John starting Medicanix Medical Equipment Repair Company which was later incorporated by his son Kevin in 2005 who assumed the role as President and CEO. John now serves as our Head Engineer and Designer of our Emergency Battery Power backup systems (mediproducts.net). And in his spare time, John stays actively involved in his church and enjoys mentoring young men.
