Error Codes Description or Error What can be done to correct error E11 Program Safety violation This is an internal error in the device best to call tech support. C12 Ambient temperature It is possible the location you are using your device in is too cold or too hot move to a different location. C13 Battery problem Plug in the wall transformer and charge the battery. If the problem still persist you may need to replace the battery. E0.0 – E9.9 Temperature malfunction Call Technical Service. E42 Internal communications errors Disconnect the units battery, wait 5-6 minutes. After reconnecting the battery, reset the date and time. E20 – E50 General internal malfunction Call Technical Service. Blood Pressure Error Codes C02 Zero reset failure Make sure there is no air obstructions, be sure your patient remains still. C03 Inflation too fast Your BP hose going to the cuff may be kinked causing an air obstruction. C04 Too long to inflate Check your BP hose and cuff for leaks. If no leaks are found it is possible there may be an internal leak call tech service. C05 Excessive noise Check your patient’s condition and is remaining still, it is also possible that the placement of the cuff is wrong. C06 Measurement is outside of range Check your patient’s condition. E10 Cuff over-pressure Check your patient’s condition. Temperature Error Codes C20 Disconnected probe Install or replace probe P Loss of contact Ensure proper probe positioning and or replace probe sleeve cover. E0.2, E0.3 Ambient temperature It is possible the location you are using your device in is too cold or too hot move to a different location. C22 10-minute diagnostic time exceeded Ensure proper probe positioning and or replace probe sleeve cover. SpO2 Error Codes E7 Internal error. Retake reading. If error reoccurs call tech support. C6 SpO2 pulse rate out of range Check your patient’s condition. C8 SpO2 sensor faulty Replace the SPO2 sensor. C9 SpO2 exceeded its time limit Ensure proper probe positioning and or replace probe sleeve cover and retake. If you cannot clear an error code, turn the unit off and wait 10 seconds, re-power on. If the error codes still appear disconnect the battery of the Spot Vital Signs Monitor and wait five minutes before reconnecting it.
